Our Mission - A School of Young Saints and Scholars... At Saint Ambrose, our mission is to provide our children with an excellent education - both in the academic sense as well as in the teachings and ways of the Catholic faith.We provide educational and religious instruction to students in the Old Bridge and surrounding towns from the Pre-K four year olf level until the 8th grade.We strive to provide our children with outstanding teachings, academically and in the teachings and ways of the Catholic faith, by providing all of our children a nurturing, challenging and safe environment. Our philosophy at Saint Ambrose School can be summed up by our motto: "Everything we do, we do for your children."
Who We Are St. Ambrose School is a MiddleStates accredited Catholic School in the township of Old Bridge. We have a staff of thirty educational professionals that dedicate their professional and vocational lives to teaching. We currently have 430 students from ages 4 through 14. What We Teach - Our CurriculumThe curriculum designed by the Diocese of Metuchen is based upon the New Jersey Core Content Curriculum stands. Please click here to read the curriculum for all the major subjects we teach. We hold our students to high standards of learning and dedication to work. Our teachers have honed their craft through years of experience and dedication to the art and science of elementary edcation. Students study mathematics, language arts, religion, social studies, and science. All students study art and learn Spanish. Students also enjoy two full computer labs. We also have a modern library with full-time librarian. Students also enjoy physical education and music classes.
How We Play We believe that students need to enjoy themselves in a safe environment with their friend. Students at St. Ambrose School enjoy the following sports: soccer, softball, basketball, baseball, track, and cheerleading.
