TECHNOLOGY AT SAINT AMBROSE St. Ambrose School is privileged to offer a state-of-the-art computer lab and program to our students. The lab includes over 25 current workstations equipped with a variety of educational software options for the students, a giant plasma screen display used by instructors to illustrate concepts to the students, outstanding instruction and broadband internet access in the lab. Smartboards and state-of-the-art educational software packages are also available in the school's computer lab.
Additionally, each SAS classroom is wired for internet access and technology with most classrooms having multiple workstations available to the teacher and students. Computing is a part of every student's educational experience at SAS. The school's also has a Technology Committee staffed with parent volunteers which works to maintain the school's cutting edge network, workstations and software offerings. Any SAS Parent is welcome to volunteer their time and talents as a member of this committee -- one need not be a strong technologist to participate, the Committee also needs parents for tasks such as photography and writing (for the school website and to help secure funding via grants) To view the presentation handouts from the Technology Committee's (Mr. Novo's presentation) Internet Safety Workshop from February 27, 2007, please click here (Presentation, Handout). Some of the initiatives the Technology Committee is, or plans to, work on in the future include the following: 1) Technology in the Curriculum
